Taxco Sterling Modernist Cat Brooch

Offered is a most interesting modernist sterling silver brooch. The jewelry pin has an undulating abstract form in the shape of a stylized cat.  It measures 2 1/4″ across, and is 1 3/8″ high. It is marked with a Taxco, Mexico registry mark as shown on the reverse side. The jewelry piece is hollow but thick and well crafted.  This is in excellent condition with no damage found.
