Vintage 800 Silver Plique a Jour Enamel Fish Brooch

Offered is most delightful plique a jour enamel brooch of fancy filigree wire work.  The wire has a light gold wash.   It bears the 800 sterling standard mark as well as the Italy stamp of the maker and the Italian province of origin used from the 1940s – 1968. In the form of a fish, the large pin measures approximately 2″ x 1 1/2″ across the widest points.  This unusual jewelry piece is in very good condition with no damage found.
