Vintage Mexico Silver Sterling Brooch

Offered is a very old jewelry brooch not so clearly marked Mexico silver. It has a pair of  leaf and ball motifs joined by a central twisted wire ring.  There is a simple C catch closure. The pin measures 1 7/8″ across, 7/8″ wide and is about 1/2″ thick.  There is a rather rough spot on one leaf, and a tiny spot on one ball. This is the result of the casting process, and not subsequent damage. The metal has been tested to indeed be sterling.  Total weight 12.9 grams
