Sterling Silver Bird Brooch Standing Crane Crystals

Offered is a most interesting sterling silver bird brooch.  With a mid century modern appearance,  the wing of the crane or heron has inset clear crystal facets in the open back setting. The crest has prong set facets with a  there is a bezel set red stone for an eye.  The body is domed shaped with various surface textures

The reverse side is shiny and appears to be rhodium plated. The hallmarks are presently unidentified, but the pin was tested to be sterling. This has a trombone closure. The stunning animal is 2 3/8″ high, and 1 1/8″ across the widest point. This well crafted jewelry has no condition issues.
