Dominick & Haff Sterling Souvenir Spoon Stoddard Chapel

Offered is an antique Dominick & Haff sterling souvenir spoon. The  memorial citrus spoon was commissioned as part of set by the mother of Eliza Platt Stoddard (1869 – 1886),  The bowl features the church in Succasunna, New Jersey also funded and dedicated by her mother. The family also commissioned an extensive set of sterling silver flatware in honor of her daughter who was known by the nickname Linnet. The thick and sturdy spoon measures about 5 1/2″ in length and weighs 27.5 grams. It bears an older stamped trademark on the reverse side. This is in excellent condition with no damage to report.
