Sterling Enamel Rooster Chinese Export Pendant

Offered is a lovely dainty sterling enamel rooster pendant.  It is of gilded silver with rich colored cloisonné decoration that includes red, purple, and shades of blue.  It is marked simply silver on the bail as was most vintage Chinese export items of this genre.

The bird pendant measures 1 1/4″ long, and is a bit more than 1/4″ thick. It is finely detailed and well constructed.  The 18″  chain is not original to the piece, but is included as well. It is marked 12K gold filled on the spring ring clasp.
