Modernist Design Sterling Brooch Abalone Cabochon

Offered is a vintage modernist design sterling brooch  It features a bezel set paua abalone shell cabochon applied to the gently curved half moon shape. The silver pin measures 1 1/2″ in diameter and 1″ high. It is marked sterling and has the maker’s hallmark PTP in script as shown. Though the name of the company is not known at this time, they produce jewelry reflective of both Art Deco and Modernist designs in both sterling silver and gold filled metals.  This has no condition issues.
