1976 Sterling Silver Proof Bicentennial Medal

Offered is the official 1976 silver proof medal that celebrated the bicentennial of the American Revolution.  This was designed by Frank Gasparro, Chief Engraver at the US Mint. One side features the Statue of Liberty, and the other the Great Seal of the United States.  The medallions were made in gold, gold plated, bronze, and different sizes of silver metal.  This is the 1 1/2″ sterling silver proof.  The original box shows wear as pictured, the coin in the plastic container is unblemished.
