Sterling Silver Powder Compact Opal Cab

Offered is a lovely vintage sterling silver powder compact.  With a rather mid century modern ribbed design on a square shape, this measures 3 1/2″ x 3 1/2″ and is 3/8″ thick.  The cabochon is set in a bezel on the top surface as shown.  Marked and tested to be sterling, there is no maker’s hallmark.  The inside bottom has the stamped number 360 as illustrated. The push mechanism to open and close functions appropriately.  The sturdy compact is empty except for the puff as found.  There are some black spots on the mirror toward the right hand side.  There are no dents, dings, scratches or other condition issues with the case.  Total weight:  84.6 grams
