Maricela Sterling Brooch Retro Modern Taxco

Offered is vintage signed Maricela sterling brooch.  Of solid silver, this features the retro modern era design elements popular in the 1940s.  With swirls, leaves, and ball elements this measures approximately 2″ x 1 5/8″ across the widest points.  The trademark name was used by designer Isidro Garcia Pina in honor of his daughter. This is marked on the reverse side Maricela, 925, Tasco, Hecho en Mexico, Sterling, and with the Eagle 3 stamp.  The mark was used from the 1943 – 1080.  The enchanting jewelry has no condition issues.  Total weight:  12.5 grams
