Bell Sterling Earrings Modernist Screw Back

Offered is a rather unusual set of Bell sterling earrings.  These are stamped on the ends of the threaded posts with a hallmark of the Bell Trading Post.  The Alburquerque, New Mexico firm was in business from 1932 – 1969.  They specialized in designs and products of Native American origin.  This opposing pair of silver earrings are of a more modernist nature with an undecorated three dimensional swirl unlike the expected fare.

Each earring is 1 5/8″ long and 7/8″ across the widest point. There is an area on each that has been intentionally darkened towards the inside curve of the spiral  to provide additional contrast and depth to the design. The jewelry has no condition issues.  Total weight:  7.8 grams
