Mid Century Modern Sterling Silver Brooch w/ Pearl Spain

Offered is most intriguing mid century modern sterling silver brooch. With design elements popular in retro modern jewelry, this measures about 1 1/2″ x 1 1/4″ across the widest points. Two layered  ribbon like elements have a textured surface with smooth shiny edges. A cultured pearl is mounted to the wire ring that encircles the piece.  The pin also has a rather unusual trombone style catch that allows the needle to be released from the bottom of the finding.  It is marked on the reverse side sterling and Spain as shown  This is well crafted with no condition issues.  Total weight:  4.8 grams
