Sterling Enamel Pendant Necklace Modernist Style Chain Link

Offered is a most elegant and substantial sterling enamel pendant necklace.  This is composed of gently curved oval shaped silver links joined by heavy gauge solid sterling soldered rings.  The ovals are inset with black enamel and measure approximately 1 1/4″ x 3/8″ across the widest points.  The necklace is 16 1/4″ long, with the pendant portion providing an additional 1 1/4″ drop.   The pendant is attached with an unusual hinged mechanism that has been left undisturbed.

The jewelry is stamped 925 and with a yet to be identified makers hallmark of the letter M.  The enchanting jewelry piece has no condition issues.  Total weight: 32.9 grams
