Sterling Amethyst Marcasite Brooch Tennis Racquet Hallmarked

Offered is a delightful sterling amethyst marcasite brooch.  In the shape of a tennis racquet, the frame is decorated with marcasite stones that also adorn three sides of the handle. There are two amethyst stones set in decorative bezels in the center.  One facet is dark purple, the other is lighter in color. The pin measures 2 3/8″ long, and is 7/8″ across the widest portion. It is marked 925, silver, and with the maker’s hallmark R Inc. This is a well crafted jewelry piece that is without damage. Total weight: 6.9 grams
