Hand Painted Milk Glass Brooch Coastal Ocean Theme

Presented for sale is an older vintage hand painted milk glass brooch.  Unlike the more common floral patterns, this one features a tranquil ocean cove scene along the seacoast. Set in shiny gold colored metal, the oval shaped pin measures 1 3/4″ x  3/4″ across the widest points. The only identifying markings are the reverse side. Though not a specific indication of a manufacturing date, the finding has a stamped patent number that dates to 1937.  This interesting costume jewelry piece  is in excellent condition with no damage found.
