Gorham Sterling Celeste Pattern Spoon Pin Brooch Mid Century

Offered for sale is a delightful Gorham sterling Celeste pattern silver salt spoon pin.  Issued in 1956, the mid century modern design features incised star shaped flowers on the pointed handle.  It measures approximately 2 7/8″ in length and has the raised embossed hallmark on the reverse side as shown. Often crafted from salt spoons, these brooches were provided as a premium for those brides who purchased their sterling flatware set. The jewelry piece has no condition issues.  Total weight: 4.7 grams
