Antique Sterling Salt Spoon Mt. Vernon Lexington Pattern c. 1900

Offered for sale is a lovely antique sterling salt spoon.  The dainty silver object has been identified to be of the Lexington pattern manufactured by The Mount Vernon Company of New York c 1900.  It is marked only Sterling  PAT and could be a product of one of the predecessors of this maker as well.  Though small, it is finely detailed with a beaded edge.  It is decorated on the back as well.  The spoon measures a bit more than 2 1/4″ in length.  Though there is a slight undulation in the handle when viewed from the side, it is in very good condition for being about 125 years old. There are no other imperfections noted.  Total weight:  2.9 grams
