Antique Acme Mortar Bowls + Pestle 4 Pieces

Offered is a set of antique Acme mortar bowls and pestle.  From an apothecary shop that closed in the 1920s the vessels are strong, sturdy, and quite heavy.  The walls of the earthenware pottery bowls range in thickness from 1/2″ for the smallest to 3/4″ for the largest.  There is evidence of use in the interior bottoms of each consistent with age.
