Antique EAPG Glass Pitcher Victor Shell and Jewel
Offered is a stunning antique EAPG glass pitcher. The original Westmoreland pattern was named Victor and introduced C1893. Also commonly called the Shell and Jewel pattern, Fostoria produced a like item from 1901 – 1909. This is of the latter genre as evidenced by the gentle slope of the thick lens like elements along the upper rim.
This measures 8″ high to the spout. It is 4 1/8″ in diameter across the pedestal foot. The jug holds approximately 40 ounces. There Is expected wear on the underside of the ring from contact with a table or shelf. This fine example of early American pressed glass has no cracks, chips, or other condition issues.
