Antique Gold-Filled Hair Ornament Chignon Holder

Offered is a most interesting Victorian era hair ornament.  Sometimes named a hair pick or fork, this is used to hold and decorate a lady’s chignon or bun. Of rolled gold plate (gold filled) metal, this measures 4 3/4″ from the top to the bottom of the tines.  It is 2″ wide across the looped decoration at the top.  This is in very good condition with no damage found.
