Antique Sterling Sash Buckle Brooch

Offered is a large and heavy antique brooch of solid sterling silver. The sash pin measures approximately 3″ x 2 1/8″ and has a chased Art Nouveau design on the curved surface. With the buckle styling popular in Victorian times, this has a strong C Clasp closure, sturdy hinge and heavy needle. This has the maker’s hallmark  of LaPierre. The word Sterling is also stamped as shown. This is in very good condition with very little signs of use.
