Antique Sterling Silver Enamel Souvenir Spoon Cincinnati Ohio Tyler Davidson Fountain

Offered is a most stunning sterling silver souvenir spoon. With delicate floral decoration, this silver utensil has lovely enamel on the handle and an engraved bowl that celebrates the Tyler Davidson Fountain dedicated in 1871. The  Art Nouveau era spoon measures 5.5″ long and has a light gold wash as was the custom of the day. It is engraved ’99 on the back of the handle for the year 1899.

It is marked as shown 925, sterling, 1000 as illustrated. As a previous collector of such wares, this is the very fine example from the golden age of sterling souvenirs. It is in the excellent condition described and shown in the photos provided.
