Antique Sterling Simons Thimble

Offered is an antique sterling thimble that bears the Simons Bros. hallmark on the interior. The wide band near the bottom has am interesting very fine vertical ribbed design.  The sewing tool has no ding, dents, or pierced holes, but the rim is slightly out of round consistent with age and use.
