Antique Sterling Souvenir Spoon Detroit Minnesota

Offered is a lovely antique sterling souvenir spoon.  With a speckled trout fish on the handle, it is engraved Detroit, Minn. in the bowl.  Detroit, Minnesota was founded in 1871, but renamed Detroit Lakes in 1927 to avoid confusion with Detroit, Michigan.  Finely detailed, this sterling silver item can be best described as a master salt spoon. Smaller than a demitasse, it measures 3 1/2″ in length.  It bears the old Watson hallmark as illustrated. This delightful piece of history has no condition issues.  Total weight:  4.5 grams
