Art Deco Era Compact HEYCO Majestic Fifth Avenue

Offered is a most intriguing Art Deco era compact that has never been used.  The hinged cover design consists of a series of round convex shapes that provide a most interesting kaleidoscope effect. This is of brass metal that has an unusual rose colored tint. This measures  almost 1/2″ thick, and is 3 1/2″ in diameter. The mirror is clear,  The original unused puff and screen are included.

Research indicates that this was manufactured by Majestic Metal Specialties of Moosup, Connecticut. Identical branded versions were marketed under the Majestic Fifth Avenue name.  The company also sold unbranded versions to other firms to market with their own cosmetic lines.  Thus the original sticker of Heyco Fifth Avenue displayed here.  The vintage vanity item is in excellent condition with no damage to report.
