Gorham Sterling Buttercup Pattern Spoon Pin Brooch

Offered for sale is a lovely vintage Gorham sterling Buttercup pattern spoon pin.  The brooch is the size of typical salt spoon measuring about 2 3/4″ long. Though the design was first issued in 1895, this is of a more recent date as determined by the mark and jewelry findings.  In the 1950s these were often given as  advertising premiums or gifts to the bride to be when they purchased their silver service. This has the same elaborate design found on full sized antique pieces and manufactured in miniature.  Marked as shown, this has no condition issues.  Total weight:  5 grams
