Heisey Crystolite Glass Bowl and Plate 2 Pcs

Offered are two pieces of Heisey Crystolite Glass.  The pattern No. 1503 was manufactured by A.H. Heisey & Co., from 1938 to 1957.  Both are marked with the H in a diamond trademark.  Though the set resembles a mayonnaise server and liner plate, this handled dish is a bit more shallow.  It measures 6 3/4″ from the outside edges of the handles, and about 5 3/4″ in diameter across the center of the rim.  Likely used as a bonbon bowl or for serving preserves, this is 2″ hugh to the rim and undamaged.  Both pieces are included for one price.

The matching plate is undamaged condition as well.  It is 8″ across to the outside of the handles and about 6 3/4″ Though it performs well as a line for the bowl, research indicates that it may have been a separate snack plate.
