Large Modernist Sterling Brooch Amber Inserts Hallmarked 4″

Offered is a most dramatic and large modernist sterling brooch.  The jewelry pin is  4″ x 1 5/8″ as measured across the widest points.  The sleek abstract design ranges in thickness from 1/4″ to 1/8″ on the edges.  It is marked on the reverse side with a yet unidentified maker’s hallmark (K inside a larger G) and 925 as illustrated. This has an unusual and secure C clasp type closure.  The substantial piece has no condition issues.  Total weight:  25.2 grams
