Large Sterling Bird Brooch Mexico Silver c 1940s 3 7/8″

Offered is a dramatic and large sterling bird brooch.  It has an old silver Mexico mark as well as an unusual pictorial maker’s mark.  In the style of Georg Jensen and lesser Coro copies of same, the pin measures 3 7/8″ x 1 3/4″.  It is a thick piece that is 3/8″ thick at the tallest point.  There is a well functioning C clasp closure. The jewelry is hollow but well crafted and  has no condition issues.  Total weight:  26.9 grams
