Large Vintage Sterling Sailfish Brooch 3.5″ c 1940s

Offered is a rather spectacularly large vintage sterling sailfish brooch.  The silver billfish measures 3 1/2″ x 2 3/8″ across the widest points.  The surface is finely detailed, and the pin is marked sterling on the reverse side as shown.  The jewelry has no condition issues.  Total weight:  11.1 grams
