Mexico Sterling Brooch Matl Style Dangle 3″

Offered is a vintage hallmarked Mexico sterling brooch. The unusual jewelry piece is fashioned in the style made famous by Matilde Eugenia Poulat in the 1940s.  Turquoise, coral, and amethyst decorate the surfaces. The bird motif on the top segment of the dangle pin has been viewed with other maker’s hallmarks as well.  This particular piece is stamped sterling, 925, and Mexico as shown and not attributed to any single artist or shop. All components have been tested and all are sterling except for the needle on the back.

The brooch from top to bottom measures 3″,   It is 1 5/8″ across the widest point of the center component.  The jewelry has no other condition issues.  Total weight:  16.1 grams
