Sterling Malachite Parrot Brooch Old Mexico

Offered is a delightful vintage sterling malachite parrot brooch.  The bird on a ring is of a classic design originating in  Mexico. The silver is finely detailed, and the green cabochon appears to be attached with a rivet. The jewelry pin measures 1 1/4″ tall and about 1″ across.  The stone stands 1/4″ high off the frame.  It has a partial hallmark on the reverse side of the tail as illustrated. There are no condition issues.
