Solid Sterling Brooch Retro Modern 1940s

Offered is a rather large and dramatic solid sterling brooch.  From the 1940s retro modern era it features the Scandinavian floral, swirl, and ball  design elements popular in that time. The pin measures approximately 2 1/4″ x 1 1/2″ across the widest parts of the oval frame. The heavy casting is marked sterling on the back of the flower as shown.  There are no condition issues.  Total weight:  22.4 grams
