Sterling Bar Pin Brooch Marcasite Stones Black Cabochon

Presented for sale is a charming vintage sterling bar pin brooch.  It features an open work design with a round bezel set black cabochon in the center. Each end of the front surface features inset marcasite stones.  This measures 2 3/8″ end to end, and 3/16″ wide across the center point. It has a 925 sterling silver content mark on the reverse side. The mark to the left of same is undetermined.  When viewed from the side, it appears one half of the metal casting is a bit thicker than the other.  This is original to the piece, and does not alter the appearance or function of the jewelry.  There are no other imperfections noted.  Total weight:  4.9 grams
