Sterling Jewelry Set Mid Century Mexico

Offered is a mid century sterling jewelry set.  Included is a brooch and matching screw back earrings.   The jewelry pieces are marked as shown with the eagle 20 stamp and the conjoined initials HT.  Research indicates the combination of these marks were used by the Mexico City designer Estela Popowski in the 1950s, but the signature is not present.

The bi colored set is composed of crescent shaped elements that are attached by a handmade rivet. The layered pieces are in alternating colors of shiny silver and dark gray. The brooch measures 1 3/4″ in diameter, and each earring is approximately 1 5/8″ x 1 1/8″.  The threaded screw back findings and the pin back are not silver. The sturdy jewelry has no condition issues. Color variations in the photos are due to reflection and glare as opposed to defect.   Total weight 27.3 grams.
