Sterling Lapis Abstract Brooch Hallmarked

Offered is a most peculiar and unusual sterling lapis brooch.  With pierced and engraved design elements similar to those found in Native American and Southwest jewelry, the exact origin is unknown. This measures about 2 1/2″ x 1 3/4 ” across the widest points.  The three bezel set blue cabochons are gathered on one end of the undulating silver frame. The needle is centered on the back giving this versatility in the placement or angle of display.  It is marked on the reverse side as shown.  The unique jewelry piece has no condition issues.  Total weight:  8.8 grams
