Sterling Silver Doublet Chatelaine Brooch Modernist Arts & Crafts Designer Lillian Pines

Offered is a stunning jewelry brooch by designer Lillian Pines (1894 – 1994). It is a doublet or chatelaine style pin with chains connecting the two beaded fan elements. The fans are of solid silver and one bears the name plate as illustrated. Each of the sturdy elements measures about 1 1/2″ across and 1″ high. When extended, the jewelry measures 5 1/2″, with the longer chain providing an additional drop. Bearing design features of both Arts & Crafts and Modernist periods, this unusual jewelry piece is in very good condition with no damage found. All components tested to be sterling.
