Sterling Silver Perfume Bottle Mid Century Modern Hallmark Signed

Offered is a stunning vintage sterling silver perfume bottle. It has a sleek modernist design with smooth elegant shiny surfaces. It measures about 3″ across the widest points and stands 1 3/4″ high to the top of the green finial knob on the threaded stopper. It is marked on the bottom side with the metal content mark, 925, an Italian city and maker’s mark stamp, and an identified signature as shown.  The information gleaned from the mark indicates it was made in the Italian city of Florence, with the mark registered to Ma Si Athos & C., in business from 1962 -1971.  The signature may be that of the designer.

The charming piece has no condition issues. Variations of color or texture on the surface is due to glare and reflection as apposed to defect.   Total weight:  23.5 grams
