Taille d’ Epergne Enamel Brooch Watch Pin

Offered is an antique watch pin with taille d’ epergne enamel decoration. A popular design technique in the 1860s -1870s, this was used to attach a lady’s watch or locket. The metal appears to be gold filled or gold over brass.  The brooch is  excellent condition. The jewelry piece measures 1 1/4″ x 3/4″ and has a tube hinge and C clasp finding.
