Taxco Sterling Animal Brooch Happy Donkey

Offered is a delightful vintage animal brooch of sterling silver. It features a donkey or burro with a prancing step and a joyous smile. It is marked on the reverse side as shown with an older eagle mark, Taxco, 925, and sterling. The other mark indicates that the needle is not silver. The jewelry piece measures approximately 1 7/8″ x 1 7/8″ across the widest points. Odd coloration in the photos is due to glare off the shiny surface as opposed to defect.  The jewelry is in excellent condition with no damage found.
