Vintage French Market Bag Expandable Tote Purse

Offered is a lovely vintage French market bag.  Used to tote goods home from shopping, this expandable handbag is made with a fine crochet stitch.  The sides are woven with stringed tassel decorations that serve to cinch the adjustable sides closed at the bottom half.  The boarder is decorated with buttons over two round rattan covered ring handles This was from an estate lot that included fashion items that dated from the late 1800s to the late 1950s.

The delightful needlework  bag measures 13″ from the top of the handles to the bottom of the satchel, and is 16″ across the widest point.  It is of a  beige color, and has no condition issues.
