Vintage LaPaglia Designed Sterling Floral Stick Pin International

Offered is a vintage LaPaglia designed sterling silver stick pin.  Alphonse La Paglia (1907 – 1953) studied under the infamous Georg Jenson, produced items for Georg Jensen USA, and in 1952 became associated with the International Silver Company in Meriden, Connecticut in 1952.  Working from home under the name “International Sterling Craft Associates”.  After his death.  International continued to produce some of his designs though 1956.

The decorative three dimensional flower measures 7/8″ x 7/8 across the widest points. With undulating decorated petals, it is about 3/8″ high.  It is marked as shown on the reverse side International Sterling La Paglia designed, 109.  In total, this is 3 5/8″ long. Please note that the needle and included keeper are NOT sterling.  The jewelry has no other condition issues. Total weight without included keeper: 3.9 grams
