Vintage Ormex Sterling Brooch Mexico

Offered is a lovely vintage hallmarked Ormex sterling brooch. . It is adorned with a a large bezel set natural green stone with a boarder that includes a fine twisted wire and beaded edge. This measures about 1 1/2″ x 1 1/8″ across the widest parts of the oval shape. It is hallmarked on the reverse as shown and includes the city code for Guadalajara, Mexico, and the old eagle stamp. On the back edge, a small area of the scalloped boarders are slightly upturned as shown in the photo. The jewelry is otherwise in excellent condition.
