Vintage Rhodonite Brooch Silver Frame

Offered for sale is a rather large brooch with an intriguing stone cabochon. Identified as rhondonite, it is prong set into an old silver frame. The metal is not marked, but tested to be silver. It may be of the 800 sterling standard found in old jewelry of this genre, but a stamp is not visible. The oval shaped pin measures 1 5/8″ x 1″ across the widest points. It is in good condition with no damage found.
