Wells Gold-Filled Brooch Mid Century

Offered is a lovely vintage Wells gold filled brooch.  It features prong set red facets and half drilled pearls on a gold filled circular frame.  It bears the trademark of Wells, Inc., a maker in business from 1922 – 1978. Circle pins were a popular  jewelry item in the 1950s and 1960s.   The karat content mark  is not distinct on the tag as shown.  The brooch measures 1 1/4″ in diameter and has no damage found on this period jewelry pin.
